Our interactions with the world shape us. We live in a society that consistently and cruelly tells us that our worth is based on morphing into something we are not. Hard and unjust things happen to us in our past, present, and future. We develop coping mechanisms that ‘serve’  us in navigating the pain we face.  However, we may come to a point where we recognize that we want to expand our coping mechanisms to include tools that better align with how we want to treat ourselves and others now. 

I provide an anti-oppressive and liberatory lens through which you can re-envision the power of your own healing both personally and collectively. I offer a space for you to explore where you are. I move slow in therapy, I sit with emotions,  I do not try to fix or save because I don’t believe there is anything to fix or save. 

I use techniques rooted in Somatic Therapy, Mindful Self-Compassion, Polyvagal Theory, Attachment Theory, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Theory.

Rates, Coverage, FAQ

  • 15 Minute Consultation: Free

    Gender Affirming Surgery Letter: Free

    50 Minute Individual Session: $140 with pay-what-you-can availability sliding from $40-$130/session. Please inquire if this is something of interest. See ‘Insurance’ for plans I am paneled with

  • I accept Premera, BlueCross Blue Shield and LifeWise plans. Please inquire with me so I can run a benefit check for you.

  • Everyone’s financial situation is different. I reserve a few spots for pay what you can $40-130. It is not always available, so, please inquire if this is something you are interested in.

  • We will collaborate to find a time that works best for you. My clients typically come to therapy weekly either via telehealth or in-person in the U-District.

  • You are entitled to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of what charges could be for psychotherapy services provided to you. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • I require 48 hours notice for all cancellations. Failure to cancel within that time frame results in a charge of your full session fee.
